WELCOME TO ELM CLASS
Welcome to Elm class!
We are a Key Stage 3 class with 11 pupils.
Our staff team consists of Lorna, Arooj, Sharon, Jude. Alex teaches the class on Wednesday afternoons.
Our topic for this half term is:
Topic: My independent self
Book: I am not a label by Cerrie Burnell
This term, our theme is “My Independent Self”. Pupils will explore identity through reading I Am Not a Label, develop communication skills, and build confidence in choice-making. In maths, we’ll focus on problem-solving and practical life skills, while science brings exciting investigations into chemical reactions. Our PSHE sessions promote wellbeing and resilience, and in RE we’ll learn about Jewish celebrations. Creative projects in art and music, plus physical activities and outdoor learning, will keep everyone active and engaged. We can’t wait to share our progress with you!
